Brian Gillenwater - CPA
Brian, founder of the Adventure Accounting Firm, was born and raised in southern Idaho. He earned his Bachelors and Masters of Science Accountancy from Boise State University. He and his wife, Stephanie, have four children whom they love and adore. They spend their time seeking outdoor adventures whenever possible.
Alexa Fehlman
Alexa was born in Bozeman, Montana but has lived in the Boise area most of her life. She currently has her Associate's Degree and is learning an immense amount working at Adventure Accounting. Alexa coordinates payroll, monthly bookkeeping, and tax preparation. With her love of warm weather, camping, hiking and spending time outdoors she's a great fit and asset to the Adventure Accounting team.
Mark Jacobs
Mark is an Idaho native with a background in real estate investments. He graduated from Westmont College in 2002 with a BA in Business & Economics. He worked for over a decade at a commercial real estate asset management company in Santa Barbara, CA. In 2014, he returned to Idaho with a focus on multifamily repositioning projects and real estate brokerage. He joined Adventure Accounting in 2023 to help with business development and management. Mark and his family love to get out on the water and the golf course in the summer. In the winter his free time is all on skis.
Rhonda Hoyer
Rhonda is an Idaho Native, born and raised! She loves spending her time outdoors camping, hiking, gardening, and running. She has an extensive background in customer service. With 15 years in education and 10 years in mortgage banking, Rhonda’s day to day includes bookkeeping, scheduling, and firm administration. She is blessed to have three happy, healthy, and hardworking children. With her cheerful personality and love for people, she makes Adventure Accounting a great place to be.
Todd Renberg
Todd was raised in the Treasure Valley and graduated from Centennial High School. He moved to Seattle to work in the restaurant industry, cooking and managing. After 10 years in the restaurant industry and with the birth of his son Vaugh, Todd and his wife Nadine moved back home to Boise. Todd's life experience, love of a good challenge, and excitement for projects have made him invaluable at Adventure Accountants. His primary focus is preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals, bookkeeping, and projecting financials. Of course, Todd enjoys cooking. He also enjoys horticulture.
Steve Renberg - CPA
This is the placeholder for Steve's bio. Until we add more information for him we will just say that Steve likes to party. He also likes taxes, golf, and reciting the presidents of the United States backwards and frontwards.
